As a new mum I had the impossible task of trying to find a suitable gym when I was pregnant with my first child. At that point, I had been in the fitness industry for 10 years already and then realised the exercise I was doing was causing pain and life long damage to my pregnant body!! How had my fitness education, which includes University Degree’s NOT covered this!??
Most gyms don’t specifically cater for pregnant women or new mums. I realised that all other mums experience the same challenge so over the last decade I have dedicated my time to CHANGING THIS!!
Countless hours of working along side other professionals like physio’s - and thousands of dollars have gone into research, learning, program development & refinement over the last 11 years to create world class programs to support pregnant women, mums after birth and mums/women in any stage of life.
I launched Active Mum with so much passion and drive.
AM specializes in pre and post-natal exercise and invites mums to exercise together with their children! Kids are actually encouraged to do the classes with their mums which saves on costs for a creche or babysitter. You can also train online!
Manly is a health hub, but for a new mum it can be difficult and costly to juggle care for kids while you do a quick gym class. Combine that with the fact you should be getting expert and tailored care during pregnancy and post birth and the task feels out of reach.

This is an exciting new venue just for Women! The new Active Mum Manly studio is now open and classes are booking up. I offer a wide range of programs, 1:1 training, packages, mindset coaching and so much more to support women at every stage of life.
